Located on Linnaea Farm, a 315 acre land trust on Cortes Island, B.C., Linnaea School offers a unique and exciting educational programme for sixty children from kindergarten to grade eight. Their curriculum builds strong academic skills while nurturing attitudes and values that prepare students to be capable, confident, and caring adults who can meet the challenges of an increasingly complex world. The school is housed in a spacious, lakefront building nestled amongst playground, orchards and gardens. The rich resources of the farm provide the students with the opportunity to learn through first hand experiences, skills and knowledge in animal husbandry, organic gardening, stream enhancement, and forest ecology.
